Svenska Vorstehklubben (SVK)

SVK är en av landets äldsta specialklubbar och startades redan 1917.
 SVK har 10 lokalavdelningar som anordnar en rad träningar, prov, utställningar och andra aktiviteter. På många ställen finns också lokala träningsgrupper där du kan delta med din hund. Lokalavdelningarna kan informera om på vilka orter de finns.

Klubben representerar flera raser inom gruppen kontinentala stående fågelhundar, nämligen Strävhårig vorsteh, Korthårig vorsteh, Långhårig vorsteh, Grosser münsterländer, Kleiner münsterländer, Korthårig ungersk vizsla och Strävhårig ungersk vizsla.
 Medlemsantalet i Sverige är ca 2 400 medlemmar. Tidskriften Svensk Vorsteh utkommer fyra gånger per år till alla medlemmar och där kommer du bl a att få mer upplysningar om klubbens aktiviteter.

SVK/Västerbotten

Medlemsantalet är för närvarande omkring 200.

Lokalavdelningen som bildades 1970 med namnet Västerbottens Vorstehklubb, anordnar:

  • utställningar, jakt- och viltspårprov enligt Svenska Vorstehklubbens regelverk
  • kurser och träffar för utbildning och dressyr. 

Dessutom sysslar SVK/Västerbotten med att:

  • sprida kännedom om vorstehraserna och deras användning
  • väcka intresse för och främja ändamålsenlig och sund avel
  • hålla årsmöte under februari eller mars månad.

Alla aktiviteter som SVK/Västerbotten anordnar finansieras av aktiviteterna själva.
